"cutting red tape" maybe rightly has negative connotations but a lot of the time, it's stuff like this. So many bylaws are indecipherable by even people who spend all day every day with them

I keep getting scolded at work because the AI project I've been tasked with against my will isn't providing enough "value-add"
Keep getting told to do more research and improve my prompts, because surely it's my fault that the AI isn't producing correct or consistent outputs

Even ignoring the hundred other scandals for the Ford government, this chart alone should be resignation-worthy for any government that considers itself serious. A complete failure on housing, and will likely get worse before it gets better. The rest of Canada (good for them!) are beating us badly

"I hoped a younger, poorer person than me would pay significantly more that I paid, for an older home now, so I could upgrade my lifestyle on their dime by providing nothing of value myself"

To this day I don't get why Trudeau or Carney have barely even *mentioned* the provinces. The things that normal people are mad about are housing/healthcare/education. None of which are federal

If it's true that house prices going down cause recessions, would it not follow that house prices shooting through the roof would cause economic booms? Because that, uh, hasn't happened at all
