Northfield, too! Came out at rehearsal's intermission and did some sky-gazing.

My pendant from @oishinythings.bsky.social arrived, and it is so lovely! The wirework is much more delicate than I had thought, based on the photos. And labradorite is a magical stone - it fools you into thinking it's not that special, and then the light hits at just the right angle.
A delicate silver wire net surrounds an oval labradorite cabochon, which is a little bit bigger than the width of my thumb. There's an elaborate silver wire bale at the top, and the pendant is on a leather cord. My thumb is angling the pendant so that you can see the flash of green/yellow/blue in the stone.

My earrings arrived from @peculiarityshop.bsky.social today! What you can't see on the photo is that there is the most subtle hint of glitter in the blue drops. I love them!

I couldn't see why traffic was held up until they got to the other side of the road. I was impressed that they were using the crosswalk!

A frog turned up on my printer at work one day. I thought he was a large dust bunny until I lifted the lid. He was relocated to the nearby pond after getting his picture taken.

She does very good work and is great at coming up with different ideas for things. This is a detail of one she quilted for me.
The corner of a quilt in grey, red, yellow, and black. The design is based on the Storm at Sea pattern. The background is shades of grey, and there are ribbons of red and black running behind yellow heart shapes. It's quilted with a medium grey thread in a wavy, leafy pattern.

Ea-nasir's Cat: Cobalt blue earrings with copper accents. From top to bottom, the beads are a blue 3D cat figure, small round copper bead, faceted blue bead, small copper bead, blue rectangular bead, small copper bead. All are strung on silver wire that's finished off with a little spiral. Return of the Whisper Bird: translucent pale green beads that are a shade somewhere between grass green and blue green. Three sizes of there are 4 faceted beads on the silver wire, separated by small round silver beads. The middle bead looks green but has an iridescent flash. The earrings are finished off with a small spiral.

Wow! That is some static! My pup wriggles around on the carpet to get charged up, but never gets close to that.

We live 2 blocks from a fire station, and Kate always sings to the sirens. We sing, too, and now I have to consciously stop myself from howling to random sirens when I'm by myself.

My earrings from @peculiarityshop.com arrived on day 12 of my 12-1-6 work schedule, perfectly timed to give me a much-needed boost! As usual, their work is gorgeous!

The longer pair on the left has blue and white beads, ending in silver Saturn charms, complete with rings. The pair on the right has mostly green beads, gold-toned metal, and green enamel Saturn charms at the end.

Ooh, are you double-knitting? I did a scarf that way - it is slow, but I really like the result. Have to really concentrate on it, though!

One final #ArtAdventCalendar posting - a train set piece that I designed and painted for a production where I teach. The headlamp lit up, and we rigged a fog machine behind it so that "steam" came out of the smokestack.
A 10-ft tall, 2-dimensional set piece of tge front of a steam train. The body is grey with gold trim and the cow-catcher is bright red. The headlamp is a theatrical PAR lamp. There is an 8-ft orange ladder beside the train for scale. The same train set piece as in the previous photo, before all the highlighting and shadow details were added.

Quilt made to celebrate my brother's high school graduation. After we discussed patterns that he liked, I designed the pattern, and he chose the colors.

This is lovely to see. Instruments have their own spirit, and I'm glad you were able to revive this one.

This is my baby - approx 100 years old, rescued from a pawn shop, repaired, and sold to me.
