Saaame, but sometimes you can love a game for everything but the gameplay. (like me with Eldring Ring) So just don't buy it, but can still enjoy the other stuff. (or watch others play/suffer)

At that point why not just offer an easy mode to start with so Nicholas can enjoy it without relying on their friends?
