ICE raids are cruel, inhumane, and do nothing to serve public safety.

My responsibility is to be the mayor to each and every person that calls this city their home. That includes millions of immigrants— of which I am one.

Trump wrongly indicted me. I’ll rightly impeach him.

Impeachment isn’t just an option, it’s a necessity. I know firsthand the lengths Trump is willing to go in order to silence dissent — but is it working?

Facing Unprecedented Labor Violations, Starbucks Workers Overwhelmingly Agree to Strike Indefinitely
Unfair wages, chronic understaffing and hundreds of ULPs have led to a Starbucks Workers United super-majority vote to strike.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.

Starbucks Workers Tell Bosses: No Contract, No Coffee - The American Prospect
Starbucks baristas didn’t want to go on strike. But after four years of waiting for a contract at any of their hundreds of unionized stores, 12,000 workers at one of the world’s biggest fast-food companies are demonstrating their resolve.

We now have to cover the costs of a campaign *and* a legal battle to preserve our First Amendment rights.

Kat is being federally charged by the FBI for protesting at Broadview.

This is a flagrant political prosecution by the Trump administration, which is trying to prevent free speech and free association.

I am proud of Kat. Her movement is being targeted by the government. She needs your support.
I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

Today, the court confirmed what we all know: there is no credible evidence of a rebellion in the state of Illinois.

And no place for the National Guard in the streets of American cities like Chicago.

This is an incredibly important video. Marc soberly laying out where we are and what needs to happen from here.

Any amount of time elected Democrats spend trying to go back to the old normal is not only a waste of time, it's also dangerously naive. We need to seize the moment.
We need to build a new opposition movement. In this video, I lay out the challenge ahead and what I think we need to do to make it happen. Please watch, comment, and share. youtu.be/_GUgnpAYMCc
