This is my last photo of Harry, taken yesterday. Approximately age 2.5. He took a sudden turn for the worse this am, kept precipitously declining, and was struggling to breathe. He is at peace now. Many of you know this ache. He’ll be in our hearts forever.

Tonight in weird cookies: harissa tahini. I like trying new and unusual combinations, especially spicy + sweet. I made a few minor alterations (instead of ras el hanout I used a mix of garam masala and pumpkin pie spice). Not bad, but spices are more subtle than expected.
