yess i feel the same. i have a theory that some of the best stories come from just watching people live their lives, if not with a bit of dramatic flair in the retelling. i also really enjoy how ridiculous their solutions to problems can be sometimes 😭 glad you liked it!

heavy agree. i think it'll take most of us accepting that like. we all have the capacity to do anything at any time. forcing men and women into boxes is only gonna keep the gender divide in place. men do not have to power over women to be men and women do not have to be dominated to be women

you can acknowledge that you went through really traumatic shit and soothe yourself AND ALSO realize when your trauma is holding you back and you need to dig in harder. this idea that you have to completely dismiss your trauma and feelings about said trauma to be okay is troublesome

ohhh yeah for sure. i definitely think there's a culture around assimilation in the US and it spills onto the internet despite it being a global place which is why americans typically don't care much to go out of their way to learn the right terms until corrected.
