Read the small print. Trump just bought Putin 2 months instead of another 2 weeks. The new sanctions are against a chain of gas stations in the US Northeast and just mean the profits will go into a trust. Everything else is another TACO threat that will be conveniently forgotten in a few days...1/2

The EU, UK and Ukraine will pragmatically extract whatever arms and sanctions against Russia they can from Donald Trump rather than seeking confrontation with the US.
