Then after he was brushed he stood up on his hind legs, placed his front paws on my chest whilst purring his face off, and proceeded to bite my nose.

So I think Honey has well and truly told me to calm the fuck down and stop being such a little bitch.

Well I got up this morning and he raced to the kitchen windowsill (which he gets to via climbing a perching stool), giving me no choice.

I then tried to brush him on my armchair, and he refused and climbed up onto the exercise bike.

He is usually fed up on the kitchen windowsill to keep his prescription food away from my younger cat Boba, and every morning he gets brushed sitting on the top of my exercise bike, which he climbs onto via a big chair.

I decided I would stop those things.

(He eats his food on the kitchen windowsill to be away from Boba, and gets brushed every morning on a platform. I'll be changing both of those things.)

I can't really mentally deal with that right now.

I also can't afford to take him to the vet, but tbh I don't think there's a need to right at this moment.

So I'm just going to keep monitoring him and keep loving him.

Given his kidney disease, a quick Google suggests that this may be a sign of kidney failure.

He doesn't have any other concerning signs, but it's making me think that it might be the beginning of the end.

And for me right now, that is... A lot.
