RIP Terence Stamp. He was one the very best. I will be playing "Waterloo Sunset" in his honour today. ❤️

Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys' story reflects the best of US culture during the 20th century: the drive to creativity, representing local experience, and connecting with the wider world through music. Thank you, Brian. You channeled and manifested something truly special. ❤ ✨️🙏

I can't think of a more iconic garage rock anthem than The Standells' "Dirty Water." It was wonderful to have the opportunity to see a Standells reunion show in Vegas in 2000. Very sorry to hear that Larry Tamblyn has passed away. Heartfelt condolences to his nearest and dearest. ❤️

Thirty years ago, a dear friend gave me Marianne Faithfull's memoir and it's not an exaggeration to say the book changed my life. Her incredible writing about the 1960s made me want to become a cultural historian about that time. Hers was an important voice. ✨️

Music is magical, isn't it? 💫Listening to Redd Kross on vinyl tonight just like I did when I was a teenager. The album is new but the joyful feelings are the same as back then. Really loving that the Redd Album is on red vinyl, too! Very cool. 💖

Dear Beatle People, an important question: What Beatles or Beatles-related books would you most want to see out on the market? So many great ones with cool angles have come out the last few years and there are certainly more yet to be written. What say you? 💫
