Eurhinosaurus mistelgauensis is interesting because it is quite a bit younger than all other known Eurhinosaurus species. It gives us vital information of these ichthyosaurs close to the Middle Jurassic faunal turnover. Art: Andrey Atuchin, used with permission from Urwelt-Museum Oberfranken

New paper out! You wouldnt want to be at the wrong end of a Temnodontosaurus! He would either swollow you hole, or rip you to pieces! Many congrats to Giovanni Serafini for leading this project! Very happy it's out!

Very excited to anounce I will join @uio.no and @leneliebedelsett.bsky.social on a MSCA-award! We will study the effect of pregnancy on histology in whales and marine reptiles, thereby exploring the possibility of placentotrophy in ichthyosaurs and plesiosaurs!
