No worries at all, friend. I feel I was able to gather as much from the previous reply, though of course clarification is always welcome when conversing in a limited medium like text.

My apologies. I am often not the best at conveying my thoughts and knowledge clearly and concisely, so it's doubly difficult.

Not to mention the origin of the term ethics as "the study of morality/morals" leading to further overlap for most English speakers
July 27, 2025 at 9:03 AM
There is still a massive overlap between the two, as most people are not able to internally isolate societal standards from their own personal worldview. They internalize the ethics they have been taught from birth, thus converting them to personal morals they will bring with them into other groups.

Or the other option of arguing the fact that both concepts are controlled by people in power and have been for millennia. It gets harder and harder to take discussions of either of them seriously as they continue being used as paper thin justification for criminalizing my life 😮‍💨

Love this game. Impossible to recommend to anyone not ready to dump several hours into learning the basic mechanics while suffering through the consequences of not already knowing.
But hey, if you learn this one, you'll be set for when you get to the 3DS game (the only mechanical successor)

this game is absolutely impenetrable. I played this game quite a lot as a child and it's only in recent years that I've actually learned how anything works. It's shockingly punishing, too, if you don't figure out where to go or what to do to get more resources regularly.

IP protection companies are such ghouls. Even the "nice" ones are still enemies of creativity and art.
