I think it's a physics quirk

As with seemingly any game with a "just one more" gameplay loop, I got sucked in quickly. But I think my brain needed that on Sunday. 🤷

Probably the most notable discovery is that I tend to launch myself backward if I stand on the 2nd+ layer of blocks in the mines and spam the mine/tool button,

farming / crafting / ranching / fishing rather than doing Everything All the Time, as I'm doing.
There have been a few moments when I didn't know what I was doing from help text / context clues (wdym I can break down those blocks in the mines, my pickaxe seemed to do nothing?) But wikis exist.

I'm ~12 hours in? Constantly snowed under with open quests, but none of them seem to have time limits, so that's all right. Vibes are upbeat. Art is expressive. Dialogue is sassy enough not to be boring. Gameplay loop is pretty open, in that I guess you could focus on

Ther 6: Turned out to be Berry + Alexandre, which is a kind of mentorship-flavored friendship.

Ther 7 is a romance, though Solan + Berry's broey friendship gives me joy in the back half.

Ther 8 is about dismantling a codependent friendship and building+

Therapist 1-4: Lavender + the framework of community around her. The *most* important depends on how you define that: Yahz does a rescue or two in 3-4, and she is the LI, but Francesca is also important throughout as a sounding board / chaos agent / stalwart ally.

Yeah, what I see more here is the "I've had no sales today, rescue me 🥺" type thing.

My openness about being a small-timer probably looks like a pity play, which isn't my intent. I just don't have it in me to lie to y'all's faces and say I'm selling millions. I'm not, and I refuse to be ashamed about it.
