It's the UK not the EU that is unserious here. The gap is simply too big, the UK has to pay or stay out of this. Should less money be sent to Poland, the Baltics and Romania near the frontline because the UK can't pay it's due, but wants to be a part of this?

As opposed to Trump's incredibly weak "sanctions" on Russia, this shows its true priorities. Romania is a front line state, and the US is going to weaken Romanian security now and for the foreseeable future.
