now it looks much better than before. I made it deliberately slower so it's easier to see incorrect movements, spent some time examining tigers' gait, and here we go. the only really bad thing that catches my eye is head movements, otherwise it's pretty decent, I'd say

I have the walk animation KINDA working, but it's still a little clunky. idk, maybe I'll have to export it to something like Cascadeur and fix it there
this model had a run animation too, but it's much worse, so I'm not even showing it now. I'll have to fiddle with it for sure

what I kinda hate about many 3d artists who model carnivores is that they often tend to forget about such a thing as nictitating membrane. in humans, it's those barely visible pink bumpy things in the inner corner of the eye; in pantherines, however, it's MUCH more visible
