Sometimes it feels like a mix of algorithm and a little bit of the community culture too, but mostly the algorithm. So, so frustrating. I try to focus on simply having fun and being more present where my real community is. Tysm for saying that though, I'm sorry IG has been a pain for you too 🫂💖

I'm fine though lol. I'm so grateful to every single person no matter how many who like my art like I do. I just wish platforms cared a little bit more about the people who use them. I know so many artists can feel really frustrated at times about the state of things 😭

Also the irony of the scheduling feature but you have to be active roughly 15min before and after posting to get...you guessed it...engagement because it shows you're online or something like that

Like...what do you mean IG will gauge whether to share my posts to all my followers/the explore page based on how much engagement I get in the first 30-45 minutes after posting?? You need engagement to get engagement??
