Should've shared this at the time, but I had some extra fun Halloween-ing our usual YouTube background image for this one.

(I've been so slow making these lately that I just figured I might as well share each page when it's done. I'd intended to pace them a certain way but life gets in the way!)

This character has been taking up residence in my brain for a while now so it was time to draw her. She's called Zuu and she's normal.

We can only see the former's hand in this panel, and Firga looks squat and cartoony. Rekya: Forgive me, that fact left my mind again. 25 turns of the seasons was just a notable age in my old clan. Firga: Oh yeah? Were all your fiercest warriors that old or something? PANEL 5: Firga looks up at Rekya while holding the fruit, the latter looking off into the distance. Rekya: No. Only our most wise of elders. Firga: Oh. Rekya: To live past 20 was a great honor. This world is full of peril. Firga: I'd noticed. PANEL 6: Firga stands beside Rekya still, who closes her eyes and gestures with her hand, looking serious. Rekya: Our eldest male lived to the grand age of 30. He died of natural causes. Rekya: I only reached adult years from escaping, after the fall of my clan. I praise the spirits for my great fortune. PANEL 3: Firga has already taken a big bite from the fruit, leaving remnants below her mouth, as she looks up at the off-panel Rekya. Firga: I mean, I wouldn't consider losing my family and friends "great fortune", but I get you. It's rough as heck out here. PANEL 4: Rekya grips a fist as she continues to take the lead and look into the distance, a gremlin-like Firga regarding her with wide eyes. Rekya: Quite so. With frequent deadly weather, those feral felines, and all the other dangers that we cavepeople had to face... It is a true test of will. Firga: Yeah. PANEL 5: Big panel showing the highlands, as we view Firga and Rekya from behind, walking the pathway while a small dinosaur crosses, and two tall brachiosauruses roam at the sides, one eating foliage from a tree. A pteradon is flying through the sky. Firga: There's also the dinosaurs. Rekya: That goes without saying. Why would you feel the need to point out such an ordinary part of our lives?
