Just a mild-mannered shoeshine boy. Technical analyst of financial markets. Climate voter. Tired Democrat 🏳️‍🌈 My best comebacks are wasted on my dog.

Defend Ukraine. Protect Palestinians. Prosecute Putin's lackeys in the U.S. and punch all the Nazis.
Trump was the delivery vehicle. Vance is the payload.

"We need a fighter, not a quitter."

That's a good slogan. I hope Weiser's campaign is using that language.

Good thread here:

The thing I wish people like Carville et al would realize is that you cannot have ‘pure populist economic rage’ if you leave out the ‘woke’ bits. It doesn’t work like that.

It’s weird to me they don’t see this, so let’s see if we can walk it out.

First we have to disentangle the interests of big tech moguls from the interests of congresspeople... and get rid of the congresspeople who are beholden to the crypto bros.
November 21, 2025 at 5:29 PM
I'm all for it. Crypto should be outlawed. It's a tool designed to destabilize economies.

But the forecast for lower is just technical.
November 21, 2025 at 4:57 PM
It will probably go considerably lower.
November 21, 2025 at 4:56 PM
Thank you!

Now let's get it done!!

You didn't see how insane the U.S. became after 9/11. One big stupid incident triggered a years-long rampage against unrelated parties. We never held people accountable for that misdirection, imagining it was somehow better just to move on.

I imagine it was an object lesson for some.

He has other people to help him with Machiavellian.

Oh dear. Does he have healthcare coverage?

My PT gave me an exercise for this. Not an instant fix, but therapeutic. Lie on floor with a thick 3-ring binder (or similarly wedge-shaped object) positioned under your head, slanting to the right or left. Let your head turn in the downhill direction. Relax. Repeat many times. Switch directions.

Are the Epstein files still intact? What's the basis for assuming that the most incriminating evidence pertaining to Trump has been preserved rather than being destroyed? Is there an inviolable chain-of-custody procedure? (If so, I hope it works better than the one that guarded Epstein himself.)

As @senategabe.bsky.social frequently points out, one of the biggest factors is Senate Dems' not wanting to work full weeks, much less weekends, or put in the extra effort that actual opposition would require. Monkeywrenching Senate process is by necessity a time drag, and they don't care enough to.

It's explained reasonably well here:

Letter to the Editor: Senate Democrats Must Begin Denying Unanimous Consent

Just like every other senator, Sanders has had hundreds of opportunities to stop the Trump agenda in the Senate by denying unanimous consent and bringing procedures to a halt. Just like every other senator, he has done nothing.

They ALL need to be replaced with real fighters.
