If you mix your soil with enough water for the blocks to hold together, the structural integrity of the block remains until transplant. I also pack the soil into the blocking cells with my thumbs when I’m making the trays to ensure that each block is full and firm. I water from the bottom & top mist

This technique has been a game changer for me. I use fewer seeds but get more plants per area and transplanting is a BREEZE.

Happy Spring! I have lobelia, snapdragons, bishop’s flower, eucalyptus, bergamot, yarrow and foxglove under grow lights currently. I’m also pre-sprouting some dahlia tubers for cuttings. Peas, onions, and carrots have been direct sown and more cool hardy seeds will go in this weekend!❤️
