Friend: What are you doing?

Farzana: Snacking on spicy chili crisp!

Friend: Farzana, THAT'S NOT NORMAL! You are not supposed to snack on chili flakes!

Farzana: I am stressed. So, I am trying to feel better by snacking on chili crisp.

Friend: Ok?!

My friend Angie passed away today. We both started reading the book Midnight Library at the same time. We never ended up finishing that book. I told her that as soon as I finished writing my dissertation, I would finish reading "Midnight Library," and we would talk about how that book made us feel.

When I have a vertigo episode, I see black dots float. It looks like snow but black. It reminds me of Kundera:"Vertigo is something other than fear of falling. It's the voice of the emptiness below us which tempts and lures us, it's the desire to fall, against which, terrified, we defend ourselves."
