Amy Remeikis lays it bare — "media is still stuck in a world where it repeats the lie, without calling out the lie immediately. We report the lies as if they are a balanced contribution to a “debate” because, hey, that’s objectivity!" #auspol
Facts among the first casualties in war against renewable energy

The one-man super scheme — Morrison now works for private defence companies in the US, sitting on boards and in advisory positions. When he speaks, he is speaking for them. Once again, Morrison is extraordinary in everything but merit.

The one-man super scheme
Of all the things Scott Morrison does not understand, and the list is long and often embarrassing, somewhat in the shape of his prime ministership, China would rate very close to the top.

Amy Remeikis asking the awkward question out loud — how far should Albo prostrate himself in front of Trump, and what lessons can he take from Starmer, who has mastered the technique of capitulating for no gain while also making everything worse. Gold.

Not exactly #auspol but Diesen makes a good argument for a return to honest language in politics.

"Political propaganda is about manipulating the language to engineer consent. By merely changing the language, one can appeal to the best in humanity to convince people to do the worst in humanity."
