Either this person didn’t read what was in the letter or they don’t care or both. Here are what the letter asked for:

I was wrong about them doubling their seats. They’re projected to maintain 11 seats. But with these numbers Labor can pass laws with help of Greens:

Jana’s family has left the building they were staying in due to intense bombing of Deir el-Balah. Some are in a 1-room apartment of a cousin and others in makeshift tents in the street. Saja’s last message was to not worry in case we don’t hear from them, since their eSIMs don’t work so well now.

Yesterday was the first birthday of Saja and Jana’s nephew. Eight months of those twelve have been in a war zone. Has severe vitamin deficiency due to poor access to food. But he’s happy about getting a cookie for his birthday.

This is Saja, my sister in law, in Gaza. She’s so happy about people’s support via the GoFundMe that she thought people might also be interested to read stories and see images from her current life in Gaza. My wife said we’d share her stories. This thread is for Saja and her stories.

The author did a great job being clear about measurement in psychology and what it can and can't be useful for. I'll add that the predictive validity (or correlations) of these measures are most often at the population level and not at the individual level. i.e., not psychology but population stats.

Research suggested a response styles bias in people's repeated self-reports (e.g. daily diary studies, EMA). We tested this and found evidence against a broad bias. Open access: journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...

This is a great paper, though somewhat convoluted/unclear at times, on what it means to be a realist regarding psychological constructs, such as intelligence (g factor). They grapple with some difficulty issues and end up with strange metaphysical commitments citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/document?rep...

Training for IQ tests begins early (even earlier than what’s in this photo) in some countries, cultures, families.
