Seeing the Syrian flag flying above the embassy in London filled me with an indescribable sense of pride and belonging.

It was a powerful reminder of resilience, hope, and the enduring spirit of the Syrian people.

On this day, November 9, 2015, helicopters belonging to the defunct Assad regime targeted the city of Daraya, in the countryside of the Syrian capital Damascus, with barrel bombs.

We will never forget.

The Greek Orthodox Church in the village of Al-Ghassaniyah – Idlib countryside, Syria.

The Assad regime, along with Russia and Iran, has destroyed everything: churches, mosques, hospitals, markets, kindergartens, schools, civilian homes — everything that gives life.

NEW Maxar satellite images from El Fasher, Sudan show bright-red patches around homes — highly likely blood — pointing to mass civilian killings by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

As Syrians, we have always felt the pain of others. It is our moral and humanitarian duty to stand with the Sudanese people, who are facing a horrific massacre at the hands of the criminal Rapid Support Forces.

A Sudanese mother holds her child moments before being executed by the Rapid Support Forces militia.

What is happening in Sudan is not just a war… It is a humanitarian wound, a mother’s cry, a nation’s sorrow calling on the world not to remain silent.

Each passing day brings new pain that breaks the heart and extinguishes hope in the eyes of the innocent.

It truly destroys me from within; words can no longer capture the depth of this suffering.

Journalist Olena Hubanova and cameraman Yevhen Karmazin were killed in Kramatorsk by a Russian Lancet drone strike.

Kharkiv today. Russians hit a kindergarten.

They did the same in Syria for many long years — we will never forget that.

All solidarity with the Ukrainian children, their families, and loved ones who are enduring brutal Russian bombardment.

Video from Daraya – Damascus (2015)
When Assad’s regime and its allies, Russia and Iran, were bombing residential neighborhoods with highly explosive missiles.

We will never forget that, and we will never forgive those who abandoned the Syrian people through all those long years.

A heartbreaking image of students inside their school — destroyed by the Assad regime and its allies in Al-Habit, Idlib, Syria.

Their eyes tell the story of a lost childhood and a war that stole their dreams. 💔
