OW OW OW OW, she whines, reversing back into the apartment and disappearing from Denji’s side. “Anyway,” he says easily, as though he didn’t have a wriggling fiend in his armpit mere seconds ago. “I need someone to keep an eye on her for a coupl’a hours.
