Two wolves curled up sleeping a few feet apart, cream and grey and black and amber, against a backdrop of dead leaves and bare earth. One faces away from us, one towards. The mood is peaceful.

A big buff red robot lady sits cross-legged in the corner of a bare-looking grey room, plugged into a wall outlet to charge, looking up and out the window at the night sky. Bi disaster "Anton Lebrun" from one episode of Law and Order: Criminal Intent. He's a white man of around thirty in a bad wig and frilly gothic clothing, sitting in a police interrogation room, leaning back and laughing at the ceiling, showing pointed teeth. The vibe is insufferable, but he's pretty sufferable if you find him cute. Anton again, reading quietly by himself in a bastardised vaguely satanic chapel (the cross is upside down. This is the most attention to detail they gave this set I am sorry.) He's sitting on what looks like a pew and seems to be wearing black leather pants and the same frilly purple shirt + baffling cheap fingerless gloves combo as before. The mood is subdued and a little off. Anton, this time looking tense and small, arms folded defensively, against a backdrop of stone wall and atmospheric candles. Black leather jacket with excessive studs/buttons over a white shirt. I cannot in good conscience recommend this episode because two minutes later he's being circled by his abuser looking like he wants to give up and die and that scene is not remotely needed by the plot. I need better hobbies but the actor threw himself body and soul into this dumb little role, okay.

Many of his co-stars in the Lord of the Rings trilogy were under the impression that he was actually English because of the British accent he used as Grima Wormtongue throughout filming. As a method actor, he kept the accent even when he was not filming. They were shocked to hear him speak in an American accent after filming was complete. Bernard Hill believed Dourif was speaking in the worst American accent he "had ever heard in his life".
