Trump has been able to gaslight and hoodwink the public on so many issues, unemployment, stock market, economic growth, etc, but it's pretty hard to convince people who are buying 30$ tins of coffee, and paying an extra 10K to build a house (with tariffed Canadian lumber) that everything is cool.

I finally updated my 12 year old GoPro Hero 3+ by picking up a Hero 11 Black on Facebook Marketplace ($195). A little bit bigger, but wow, so many features. The 3+ still runs great, but is way out of it's depth now. I always wondered how GoPro maintained their lead but now I know. Kickass devs.

Another good day of walleye fishing out on the water today. Colder than a brass monkey's arsehole (windy and -4 when we got on the water this morning) but great fishing weather. Some nice walleye were caught and released.

The trick is to get the pin backer that they sell now for $5 instead of straight pin. They hold on like an earring clasp. I got mine in the lobby of Costco last week. Bought 4 of them. There are knockoffs, but I prefer to help out the vets.
