god that sounds awful,,literally wasting ur time and her own. depending on the field ur in, there’s usually more people hiring jan-may bc the fiscal year resets. but this year is def weird for employment..I worked in the nonprofit field & all the billionaire funders shut sm orgs down post election

no literally!! i’ve spent the last few months job hunting post lay off & its a catch 22 bc no one in my field is hiring but everyone outside of my field said i’m overqualified or hit me w the “ur resume is great..so why do u want to work *here*” bc to survive i have to make money? liiiike…
