Working on revamping this old talking board design I did back in the early aughts. “Eye of the Storm” was originally designed as a printed piece and adhered to wood. Now it has new life as a laser-etched board. Just working out some details now. Stay tuned!

I just turned in my first wave of edits to @crossedcrowbooks.bsky.social for my revised edition of *The Witch's Name*. Pre-orders are open NOW (and there's even a *hardcover* edition!) It will be debuting this February at ConVocation, where I will be teaching. Official release date March 10, 2026.

Raising their prices right now is not doing what they can to woo us back… it’s a middle finger to their own customers and to every person in this country who values the 1st amendment. Disney needs to make it better, not hike prices and pretend that they didn’t just embolden a wannabe dictator.

When I am seated in the east, this altar is above my head, and so I imagine it there feeding into my god soul, my “holy daemon.” I can even see its reflection in the western mirror.

In my temple I have such an altar, a peacock shelf displaying special objects of devotion: a brass peacock statue, hand painted by yours truly, a silver compact with both a silver and black mirror, and a blue rose candle.

In the Faery tradition, there is sometimes the practice of having a special altar in the east (or northeast) called the Bird Altar or altar to the Blue God, who is synonymous with the spirit of our own individual God soul. We imagine this like a light, bird, or flower above our heads.

Another batch of Faery Doors is almost ready! While some use these just to add a touch of whimsy to their home, I use these as meditative portals; nexus-points between our world and that of the fae, the interdimensional beings with whom we share the planet. It is here that I will place my offerings.

I am very blessed to have such a beautiful and tranquil space in which to perform my magical and spiritual practice.
Stepping into the Temple... Here is a view of my temple room as you enter from the northwest and face southwest. The southern window is full of plants and crystals and various multicolored lights. Notice the hanging lamp next to the oval mirror. Those items are older than me and were in my childhood home. Here is a view facing the northwest. Here is the Chair of the Grandmaster, an Anderson Faery altar to the Mighty Dead. Mine is my late grandmother's rocking chair. Behind it to the left you can see my ancestor altar (a cabinet mounted to the wall) and to the right is my maiin altar. Here you can see the southeast. Notice on the eastern wall the black rectangular piece mounted to the wall. This is my Murphy Desk, which allows this space to remain a temple, uncluttered by all of my office needs. Note also the oil painting of Baphomet, a gift given to me 30 years ago. (You can also see my Blue God altar, mounted high above my desk, sporting various peacock themed items including the shelf itself. Here is my main altar, placed in the north as per the custom of the lineage of Anderson Faery into which I was initiated. The black candle and the Baphomet statue represent the Star Goddess, the androgynous creative power of the universe.
