Oops I never actually finished this thread, hi I'm gonna make this a little quicker than I originally intended: So running back to interview material for a moment I always come back to this one and how yea it's definitely seen hardest in Destiny Trio, but the sentiment feels incomplete to me.

So, we're keeping as much as possible: Nobodies still age, Xion and Roxas appear in the BBS Reconnect Secret Ending, Sora is told by Xehanort that his heart is a prison and Sora tells Roxas that he's his own person. In one of my FAVORITE interviews with Nomura pre-KH3 he says (pictured w/ alt text)

At TGS 2007 this art was created as part of their first announcements on BBS and Coded. In it Ven is depicted with his canon appearance but Roxas is a Whole Adult, notably different from his canon appearance. Most speculate it's just to differentiate them but I haven't found any sources confirming.

I haven't actively read Homestuck since the original comic ended at the Epilogue but this is so "healing your inner child" coded, anyway welcome back Vriska Serket I wish homestuck were still popular enough to see the Vriska Opinion Wars rekindled /jk
