A good month
It's been a while since I've been so emotionally wrecked by a book. The titular act is suicide and the book is inescapably about it. The book is accordingly bleak but there's also joy, humour, healing and growth. I would suggest much caution before going into it but it's an incredible read.

No idea why I waited so long to dive into this book. As someone mostly attracted to *shudders* men, the desire and sensuality/sexuality of the queer women in Mrs S was super hot. Highly recommend!
