One thing that makes me disproportionately angry is how 4:3 media just got zoomed in to fit 16:9 screens, cutting the bottom top and bottom of the image, and most of the time that cropped version is the only one we have access to. It feels like we failed as a species when we allowed that to happen

I guess Nintendo is dead to me. No matter how good they are I am never paying 80$ for games. After translating to Brazilian currency it’s gonna cost like 1/3 of an entire month’s minimum wage.

I finally finished Chrono Trigger last week after starting it like 6 times over the past 20 years. So glad I did. A perfectly paced RPG that respects your time and never overstays its welcome, a simple but great story with incredible characters, and gameplay that gets very exciting very early on.
