Upon my 11yo telling a kid what I do for work, this kid proceeds to tell my 11yo that it’s my fault her parents are divorced and that lawyers made her parents split up.

Good gods whatever you do, if you must work for others, find an employer who supports and listens to you. Every day I am grateful for my gig and the partners who are there for me, trust me, and take time to know me. It has been a game changing experience.

An old Bleachers song is my morning anthem as I climb out of what has essentially been a four year slump.
