Uffizi, Accademia for pure art museums. Otherwise a lot of church/museums like San Lorenzo, Orsanmichele, and Santa Croce.

I had to leave before I could talk myself into buying two tubes of tempera to try out, which were minimum 40 ml and pretty pricey...

To be fair to this excellent shop, its actually five brushes, two palette knives, and a small tube of made in Italy paint. So really it wasn't that bad. Made in Italy palette knives were only 4.50 euro, which is nice considering in the states they're usually 10 bucks.
