I don't blame CPS for the decision, my nephew is in the system because of his mother(and father but he only added to the mess). Worst part of all of this is I tried to warn them, but it fell on deaf ears. I can only hope he is raised by kind and loving foster parents. Anyways sorry for the drama.

My sister needed help, but my family insisted that despite the risk of a relapse that it'd be fine to have her in proximity to the child, the very same child she gave birth to with drugs in her system... (continued)

... not only that, but my family continued to defend her even when it became clear she had relapsed. Even housing her with us while her infant son was being entrusted in our care. Addiction is no joke and it can be devastating not just for the addict, but those around them as well... (continued)
