This is one of several pillboxes along that stretch of coast, created during WW2. Over the years they have sunk/ shifted in the shingle ridge of the beach. The windows and door certainly look like a face!

There is no real bad weather on Exmoor. Just wrong clothes!
And winter brings out all the reds and browns on the moor.
