Path of Exile: Made a real muscle mommy with a respectable 1400+ strength. Got around to buying some good gear but I need better armor and belt.

The combat is similar, too: In TGL you have a basic gun that doesn't run out of ammo (like the pod in Nier) plus you can use optional weapons, that can be upgraded. These blue guys sell upgrades

TGL also has a robot hottie for the protagonist. She's in the previous picture but she got a close-up for the credit roll, when you win. This is her. She's a transformer and turns into a spaceship for flying levels

The plot for Guardian Legend is you blast off Earth to investigate a new planet that appeared in the outer reaches of the solar system. First level is Gradius-like, just like Nier.

I don't have any hard proof of this but I think Nier Automata may have been partially inspired by a semi-obscure NES game named The Guardian Legend. 🧵

I would like to think that I defeated Wiegraf here, but what happened is his own black mage hit him with Blizzard while targeting Ramza, which Ramza dodged. She's hiding behind his textbox.
