As a child, I loved reading the Ladybird books. One of my favourites was the Ladybird Book of Ballet. Whilst I've got a ton of time on my hands recuperating I bought a copy and framed some of the drawings. They're going to hang in my dressing room which is due to be finished next Juvember 🙄

Day 5 post hysterectomy and I've finally had a poo at 2 am (albeit small). I'm now walking around quite normally rather than like I've been hit by a bus and apart from the (happy) event at 2 am I'm sleeping much better! Huzzah.

I've deleted X because the only people left on there are Nazis and those that can't bear to lose their likes and retweets. Threads is full of Americans and made-up stories. Please tell me it's OK here.

Started watching a TV series this morning, 6 episodes. I watched the first 2 and wasn't that impressed so I've skipped episodes 3-5 and gone straight to ep 6 as I need to know whodunit.

So after much deliberation, he is Kenny the kitten, Ken to his mates. I came up with the name while watching the Barbie film. 🥰

Lilly (Kitkit's Mum) has had some more kittens, sadly only one has survived and today she introduced me to him 💞 He's 4 weeks old and I need a name for him.

Getting the cat vaccinated tomorrow, hoping it is the government's way of controlling him as he pays no attention to me.
