Had a great time at @knotfestofficial.bsky.social Melbourne yesterday.

I met cool people, saw amazing bands & nobody gave two shits seeing a trans guy in just a binder.

Shout out to Alex (Slaughter to Prevail) and Corey (Slipknot) for both pausing their sets to help people get out of the mosh pit.

I'll never get over him trying to get this photo deleted 😂

Why would you publish this?

Yes, I was muddled up, thank you for the clarification and link to the article 🙂

I found this part of it (image attached) quite shocking, coming from a reparations campaigner. I thought the excuse of "just following orders" was long discarded...

Next on my reading list is "Bury Your Gays" by @chucktingle.bsky.social.

I really enjoyed Chuck's precious novel, "Camp Damascus", so I'm delighted to have a signed copy of this latest book 😁

I just finished reading "The Left Hand of Darkness" and enjoyed it, but I'm curious about what gender-fluid people make of it. I'll add some tags below to hopefully get feedback 🙂

I'll provide a screenshot to clarify what I'm referring to.

If you don't see how your comment could be read as implying "if Native people were vegan, they'd have less problems" and why that is deeply problematic, then I don't think we can have a fruitful discussion.

I hope you will learn & grow.

Hi friends, if you're looking for a news subscription that aligns with your values (and not owned by Murdoch Media) then I'd highly recommend @freedomsocialist.bsky.social which is available digitally or in hard copy.

As an example, here's the front page of the edition I just received:

I've started reading "Enclave" by @clairegcoleman.bsky.social and am loving it so far! 😊

If you're into dystopian thrillers with queer protagonists (eg. "Hell Followed With Us," "Camp Damascus") then it's for you!

I saw this a while ago and wanted to scream. The beef/dairy industry clearly has a vested interest in climate change denial.

Ralph Babet of all people? Huh.

The Guardian is uncritically platforming The Observer's bigotry, so clearly they agree with it. 🤷‍♂️

Can I offer you an [estrogen] in these trying times?

This one was printed when I was 3yo and it was passed down to me by my mum 😊

An RPG with Neon Genesis influence? I'm intrigued!

Side note, the text on the link card is very funny and reminded me of this 😋

My parents are in QLD and saw this yesterday... 😬

(I'm not hiding the number plate because this person clearly wanted their opinion to be known & they're the one who chose to put it on a registered vehicle. Plus this photo was taken on the road so it's "public space" not a private property 🤷‍♂️)

I voted YES and encourage all Aussies to do the same 👍

Interestingly, we're seeing a similar trend in Australia. New cases among MSM are reducing, but new cases among straight men are increasing.

Maybe it's because there's been a big public health campaign about PreP and PEP aimed at the queer community, but less focus on educating straight people?
