I'm not a horror game person, but this experience was magnificent. Even though I don't understand half of what happened, I still enjoyed it all. Signalis is the kind of game that will stay in your mind and dreams for days.

I came across this post by Froyok about custom bloom. With Unreal 5.5 the addition of custom pass it became much easier. Here is the result, a smoother propagation curve and without the artifacts that the standard bloom produces.

I'm not one to recommend games, especially when they're not finished, but this one from a very small team really captivated me with its aesthetics. It's called "Enigma of Fear", and there's a demo available for download on Steam.
