I believe if he does not go after them, they plan to vote no when it comes up for a vote. Their excuse for the change will be that releasing the files will cause more pain for the victims.

Honestly, I don't think we will see them while Trump is in office. There are no bounds to the illegal things Trump and those around him do. Destruction of the files would be no surprise. An isolated fire, a visiting dog, a computer glitch are the unlikely things that become likely to destroy them.

But had they thought that is what their constituents wanted, those others would have joined the 8. May they all get what they deserve when they are up for re-election, no matter how far away that is.
