Also, now seems like a great time for a reminder that one of the chief Australian influencers who has rallied people against Net Zero is facing 27 sex offence charges. Such trustworthy. Wow.

Maybe we should make...
"Oh you're against net zero? Like Alan Jones?"
... a thing?

⚡️🥳💪 Put it in the history books, folks!
October 2025: Australia's main electricity grid got more energy from renewables + storage than from fossil fuels for the first time. (Over a month.)

🏭☠️? Just found this great website: Reliability Watch - "We keep track of breakdowns at the (Australian) National Electricity Market’s fossil fuel powered stations."

To understand why Big Tech is spending so much on developing AI, we only have to substitute “Big Tech” with “The world’s richest capitalists”, and “developing AI” with “trying to get work done without paying a labour force”. Then it’s plain as day what the rabid clambering is all about.

Because of the illogical “My country only emits 1%” argument, the misinfo that renewables are making bills go up, more misinfo that China, India, USA (her ordering, note India < USA) aren’t doing anything, and a claim CSIRO showed coal might currently be a bee’s dick cheaper than firmed renewables.

Germany's electricity prices hardly budged as masses of renewables rolled out.
Then they spiked when the global fossil fuel energy crisis happened.

While many countries with high levels of renewables have high prices, they could be even higher without them.

Dinosaur Jr: Green Mind

It’s loud, it’s a little off key, it’s someone who clearly just loves playing music, has a lot of skill, and likes to toy with quirky ideas a bit. Blew my mind. Still sounds great and so unique.

Bidirectional charger I have no issue with.
But it’s being expanded to a nonsensical verb.

I reckon we should make it a thing to point out to anyone who demands less government spending that, according to this highly-correlated data, they're basically advocating for driving GDP backwards. Seems like more government spending could be a good idea.

“Love it or leave it”? 🧐
Doesn’t this mean if you don’t like Australia’s policies on something - like, say, immigration - you should leave and go live somewhere else? Also known as: Become a migrant. 😆

A peek into how independent “Centre for Independent Studies” is (CIS, Atlas-associated conservative “think tank”):

Queensland repealed renewable energy targets.

CIS’ energy kook writes about it:
“This is a beautiful letter.
I think it represents the beginning of the end of the energy transition.”

Fossil fuel proponents love to talk about “Primary Energy” because it makes renewables look paltry in the scheme of things.
They don’t like to talk about how most fossil fuel primary energy is either wasted as heat or used to process and transport fossil fuels.
