Urgh another Meta shuffle going to shake up a wobbly but growing #xr market. TLDR: I agree with Boz long term but Meta refuses to be honest about timelines. Adoption is slow and most the audience is gaming and very young. Also building gaming first gives you all the things you need for not gaming

Had our Halloween party last night and we hung up a cheap painters drop canvas and put out some acrylics. Creative play is such a joy.

Don't post into the void. You have no biz need so don't market. Just focus on friends and building community. It's a skill/muscle that needs exercise. There are deffo people interested in your projects.
Try think of specific people or problems. Even if it's just to laugh or show off food circa '08

I use code AI to find typos and help debug all the time, still not great at writing code past boilerplate, or simple really well explained stuff. Today though it taught me a cool new c++ thing

Helps with some compile time checks and optimisations, looking at the disassembly it really helped

#gamedev update missed deadline before Meta Connect time to regroup this week. The main lesson is as a tiny indie you have less you can squeeze because the team is smaller. So your regular productive week and your push hard week aren't much different in output. #godot #xr

Also for anyone curious on how to optimise an approx Fibonacci lattice with sin/cos ops. This is my solution in #gdscript. Handy way to put even points on a sphere.

#gamdev was paused for a few days because scary hospital stuff but yeah #godot gdextension / module incompat stuff causing some issues but on the positive side had some more convos about #ps5 port stuff with peeps.
