Russian official announces "harsh measures" against Ukrainians in occupied territories who have not accepted Russian citizenship yet.

First they force citizenship on these people, and later on they will say they must protect them because they are citizens.

Great thread. This is a similar finding I’m having in a forthcoming note - sovereign risk in low-yielding EM has improved a lot since the pandemic, but not in high-yielding ones. Despite or because of lost market access..
