Teacher, researcher; care about health policy, conservation, girls. And dogs. And donkeys, too—actual ones as well as dems. Hyper-local now. Grammar matters.

“…only when it is dark enough can you see the stars.” MLK jr.
As we remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, we renew our pledge to keep his dream alive.

Dr. King devoted his life to others, reminding us "human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable. Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, + struggle."

Let's work for justice.

Her eloquence and poise are staggering.
Kamala Harris delivering the eulogy for Jimmy Carter:

“May his life be a lesson for the ages and a beacon for the future.” May his legacy live on. RIP.

Patiently waiting for some transgender men to be invited to the capital building… Where they may have some Republican women in the bathroom get their panties in a bunch… Lol
"There are only two genders and Caitlyn Jenner"

Look, I'm not getting why narrow-minded MAGA are okay with her. Where's the media on this? Where's the media on anything, these days? Caitlyn is hanging down at MAL using the women's loo.
Talk about hypocrisy.

We came so close.

Shirley Chisholm was the first Black woman to serve in Congress & the first Black woman to run for President.

If Kamala Harris had won, she would’ve been sworn in to the presidency on MLK Day (1/20/25) by Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

So close. But here we are instead.

It’s the small things that matter. Happy thanksgiving to all.
The world may be crazy and chaotic, but I think we can all take a little solace in the fact that scones exist.

I promise it's okay to take a break from the news. Just turn it off for the week. It'll be there when you get back. It ain't going anywhere.
