This is Piping Plover “Phoenix the Footless who winters at Fort DeSoto in Pinellas County Florida every year. He lost both feet to fishing line but is living his best life despite this loss. This little bird is so inspirational to many of us who visit 💓 🪶 #birds

Osprey enjoying his breakfast yesterday at Fort DeSoto park in Pinellas County FL. It is amazing to see the numbers of Osprey at the park with well over 30 active nests in 2025 and many already staking claim of nest sites for the next season! 🪶 #birds #FortDeSoto

Took me two visits to see the vagrant Ash-throated flycatcher to get pics! It was so deep in the weedy vegetation but finally got lucky 🙂 Pinellas County FL 🪶#birds

After a failed nesting season and the disappearance of the permanent resident pair for at least 6 weeks, this Bald Eagle returned about a month ago and is now bringing sticks back to shore up the existing nest site. Still looking for the mate but full of hope ❤️ #birds 🪶 Rensselaer County NY
