I parkwalked at parkrun this morning (one of 4 volunteers in blue bibs, there were also 2 tailwalkers) and finished 273 / 301. That means there were 28 other walkers behind me (3 walkers also finished in front) … what an amazing achievement today to welcome so many to 5K ❤️🚶🏻♀️ @pauls-h.bsky.social

Nine years ago today I ran my first marathon. I’d done a 16 week couch to 42K training plan and was both very proud and totally and utterly broken at the end 😂
In two weeks I’ll run my 10th consecutive Manchester Marathon (and 44th marathon or further race!)
That escalated quickly 😉
