He said that on Mondays after a game he could barely get out of bed. Years later he developed kidney problems due to excessive acetaminophin. A friend once saw him in Coeur d’Alene and he was walking with a cane and looking poorly. RIP Kenny. Thanks for some great football!

He played for UCLA while I was in grad school and then lo and behold he came to my hometown to play for the Seahawks. I caddied for him at a charity golf tournament once. Very nice guy. I remember him saying that golf was a harder game than football. He said football was mostly hitting other guys.
