Incredibly sad to report that ABC News is indeed eliminating 538.

I count myself incredibly lucky to have worked with such incredibly smart, kind people for 7 years. Thank you all for coming along for the ride.

Why are the white, straight guys who oppose Trump the quietest? We love your emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills. Right now, in this exact moment, would be the best time to exercise those skills. Show them off!!

We have learned that the average American cannot tell the difference between a forensic audit and a hacker attacking an information system.

No wonder those Nigerian Prince email scams are so pervasive and effective.

can someone smarter than I am explain in small words how dumping hundreds of thousands of newly unemployed federal workers into the job market all at once won’t absolutely wreck the economy

Will you write to your members of Congress? We MUST ensure administrative costs are adequate to allow critical cancer research to continue. Any cancer patient you know could be impacted by this. If you need help finding the contact information, I will find it for you!

The number of adults eligible for financial relief through CFPB's actions is 195,000,000. The total number of adults in the U.S. is roughly 262,083,000. This means 74% of consumers in the U.S. were positively impacted financially by the actions of the CFPB.

How do you train people to fact-check information when we've become a soundbite economy? Everyone wants information distilled into 30-sec sound bite. This assumes all government spending is overly simplistic and can still be interpreted when void of context. Complexity is not inherently a bad thing.

I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.

"In democratic government, elected officials do not have power. They hold power — in trust for the people who elected them. If they misuse or abuse that public trust, it is quite properly revoked (the quicker the better). I never forgot the people who gave me the privilege of representing them."

“You can’t be neutral on a moving train,” I would tell them. Some were baffled by the metaphor, especially if they took it literally and tried to dissect its meaning... events are already moving in certain deadly directions, and to be neutral means to accept that.” ― Howard Zinn

My instinct is to make the case that USAID is extremely good, actually. But I feel like it’s more important to say, “What is happening is antagonistic to the foundational document of the nation.”

The sparse news coverage that exists of the Billionaire's Coup is, frankly, incomprehensible to a lay audience. "Treasury payment system" is meaningless jargon to most people. Tell people in plain language "Here is what Trump and Musk are doing, and here is how it affects Americans."

Musk has complete control of US right now. He alone decides how we spend our money, conducts our foreign policy, and makes the President & Congress & Supreme Court dance for him. Corporate Media is completely compliant.

Window of stopping Emperor Musk is closing: public needs to learn & activate.

Elon downloaded our sensitive data stored securely within the Treasury to external devices. To protect from fraud, "freeze" your credit to prevent someone with access to your SS# from opening new lines of credit. Freeze it with all three bureaus: Equifax, Experian, & TransUnion.
