Between hoisting tent poles, staff indulged my many Qs about the wood chips that give the event its signature smell/coziness.
The scoop: Festival uses ~400 yds of chips (standard stuff from a local landscaping company), which help insulate the tents and add traction to the icy ground. 🪵
