It’s so important to love the journey part. Work on getting better but enjoy the process. Your music appreciation and hearing things you didn’t notice before while listening to music is also life enriching.

Not recommending (buying the booze part) it, but if you have wine or beer they interact with you anyway to verify your age. I had a 10 minute conversation with the self checkout guy last time I went to Costco, when he checked my ID, it turned out we grew up near each other. Great chat!

What a tear jerker. Ignoring or not acknowledging race issues in the sports world of the 60’s and 70’s would be like pretending it didn’t impact music, art and politics of the same era. You can’t. Nor should we ignore it now either. Excellent as always and I can’t wait for season 2!

Agree. I think for some they think they were saving the children or that is the lie that brought them in. I know a few people in the wellness industry that got sucked into Q and it was heartbreaking. The actual Save The Children foundation is a great thing, what Q does is horrible.

Call me crazy but I agree. Q brought people in over child sex trafficking which led to vaccination skepticism and other crazy stuff. While I wish their energy was about enacting real change to protect children their anger over the issue is a righteous one to them.

Due to the rampant homophobia in the 80’s not sure a metal singer going on about how he would blow someone like a hurricane would fly. But yes, poetically works much better.

Why would they say that? Turin is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. There are here because of their contracts, they all probably think the Club World Cup is as stupid as I do and would rather be on the beach in the south of France with girlfriends or wives. Moron.

Born in the late 60’s and the music was better, promoting peace, love and standing up for free speech and civil rights was exactly the right thing to do. But… the free love and drug part didn’t make for great parenting for those that had kids. They got it mostly right.
