He’s also just not comfortable shooting with a smaller guy closing into his air space a lot of time. It’s confusing because he’ll try to shoot over a tall guy in those spots and get his jumpers blocked fairly often.

If this series goes the way it’s looking, that’d feel pretty bad. Certainly not gonna call for sweeping changes, but I think the “how can this team make room for Cam Johnson minutes?” Sort of argument should be about over. Him (or somebody of that caliber) would clearly help.

They need to be so much more decisive on offense. Denver is playing every passing lane and they are not comfortably doing anything on the offensive end right now.

Thunder shoot a ton of mid range jumpers. Not exactly in line with the teams that are completely analytics driven.

Well now I'm sad that you aren't on the FriPod that I'm about to listen to.

It definitely won't solve lack of on-ball firepower. But it gives them some REAL shooting which I think could really help how they play now. I like Johnson as a target, and I do hope they try to upgrade in some way with an in-season trade. I was on board standing pat last year but not this year.
